Behind the Shot.
While exploring San Diego, California, I encountered a dramatic scene characterized by dark stormy conditions and a tumultuous sea. Intrigued by the atmospheric energy, I discovered a collection of captivating rocks that became the foreground of my composition. Eager to capture the essence of the moment, I experimented with longer exposures, revealing the dynamic patterns of the water crashing into the rocks and the gradual retreat back into the stormy sea. This image encapsulates the raw power and beauty of nature in the midst of a turbulent coastal environment.
