Behind the Shot.

During my time on the Olympic Peninsula, the final sunset of a long and memorable journey unfolded in spectacular fashion. The coast revealed a gorgeous fiery sunset, with a prominent sea stack jutting out of the ocean and rocks in the foreground. To add an artistic touch, I experimented with long shutter speeds, capturing mesmerizing patterns in the water as it embraced the shoreline. As the setting sun approached the horizon, it cast a strong, impressive bright glow that bathed the scene in warm hues. It was a poetic and visual crescendo, marking the end of a remarkable journey up the West Coast. The interplay of light, water, and the rugged coastal landscape created a fitting and memorable conclusion to the expedition.
