Ethereal Reflections

Behind the Shot.

At the otherworldly Bonneville Salt Flats, I found myself immersed in an extraordinary experience that felt like stepping onto a different planet. The vast expanse stretched out before me, covered by a thin, one-inch layer of water that transformed the flats into a perfect mirror, reflecting the world above in a breathtaking display of symmetry, as above, so below. In this surreal landscape, I encountered a unique foreground element, a rock adorned with salt crystals, adding an intriguing texture to the scene. As the sun began its descent, the sky painted itself in gorgeous hues, and clouds adorned the horizon, creating a stunning backdrop for the reflective masterpiece below. The Bonneville Salt Flats, with its ethereal mirror and captivating sunset, offered a glimpse into a realm where reality and illusion seamlessly merged.
