Creek of Memories

Behind the Shot.

Embarking on a journey through the Utah desert, I set out before the sun had risen, enveloped in the pitch black darkness of the early morning. As the landscape slowly began to reveal itself in the soft pre dawn light, I found myself tracing the path along an ancient, dried-up creek bed. In this barren creek bed stood ancient cottonwood trees, their twisted forms telling tales of time. Intrigued by the stark beauty of these weathered sentinels, I framed a shot just as the sun started its ascent, casting a gentle pastel glow across the sky. The juxtaposition of the ancient trees against the dawn's soft hues created a captivating scene, capturing a moment of stillness and serenity in the heart of the Utah desert.
