Behind the Shot.

Venturing into the rugged beauty of the Olympic Peninsula along the northern Washington coast, I embarked on a long hike down a stunning and rocky coastline. The journey led me to the end of a vast beach adorned with beautiful, large sea stacks rising majestically from the ocean. Embracing the creative possibilities, I isolated some rocks and played with longer exposures, capturing the subtle dance of water around them. As the setting sun painted the sky in gorgeous pink pastel hues, I found a particularly captivating stack of rocks to include in the frame. This image preserves the tranquility and beauty of that moment along the rugged shores of the Olympic Peninsula.
