Behind the Shot.

In the quiet stillness of a cold winter morning in Crested Butte, Colorado, a short trip unfolded into a breathtaking moment. Before the first light of dawn, we hiked up a cold, snow-covered hill, guided only by the soft glow of pre-dawn light. As we reached the summit, the town lay peacefully below, bathed in darkness with its residents still wrapped in slumber. From our vantage point, the town's lights were like dormant fireflies, and the entire scene was a canvas waiting to be illuminated. Overhead, the sky adorned itself in soft pink pastel clouds, adding a touch of warmth to the wintry landscape. It was a delicate dance between the serenity of the sleeping town and the subtle hues of the morning sky, creating a scene that whispered tales of beauty and tranquility in the heart of a snow-covered Crested Butte.
